Who we are
Solar Spa Club is run by Ritchie, who is on most jobs himself. A helper comes along when the work calls for it.
We started in 2021 and we're based in Chatsworth. We're an LA native company, born and raised. Most of our work is on homes, and we also look after offices, retail buildings, HOAs and apartment buildings.
In 2022 gutter work grew out of what we do and became its own company, Gutter Spa Club. We still clean gutters on the same visit as your panels or windows if you'd like one stop.
Why we started
It began with Ritchie's own solar panels. Their output was dropping, and when he asked his solar company, he was told he didn't have to wash them. He didn't buy that, so he researched the best way to clean them.
Once he had them clean, the difference in output was big. That's the whole idea behind Solar Spa Club: get customers back the solar energy they're already paying for, which puts money back in their pockets.
How we clean
We clean solar panels and windows with deionized, laboratory-grade water and brushes made for solar panels. It's a spotless water system, so the glass dries clean with no mineral spots left behind. We don't use high-pressure washing on panels or glass.
For roofs, house exteriors, fences and similar surfaces we softwash, which means low pressure and a cleaning solution. Walkways get a pressure wash. Our house washing page explains the difference.
Safety on the roof
We're rope access trained and we use the safest techniques we know when we work on a roof. Panels, tile and steep pitches are part of the job, and how we get up there and move around matters as much as how we clean.

How a visit goes
- You call, email or send the estimate form. We reply within 24 hours.
- We confirm the appointment and any access details, like a gate code. You don't need to be home.
- We do the work and leave you a summary of what we did and anything we noticed.

Solar Spa Club is licensed and carries $1 million in general liability insurance.
